Applied Practicum Experience (APEx)

At Mailman School of Public Health, there is a requirement to engage in an applied practicum during the summer between the first and second year in the program. As a Social Justice Research & Evaluation Intern at Strength in Numbers Consulting Group (SiNCG), I spent my summer evaluating a capacity building training program for a non-profit to promote more inclusivity in the spaces in which professionals interact with LGBTQ+ youth. The presentation below is from my APEx presentation this fall, which summarizes a few key findings from my evaluation project.
